Little me had a great time with the classic NFS games - Underground 1&2, MW '05, Carbon, ProStreet - but I've never played the ones after that point. Which of them are good, g/u/rl?

I haven't really liked racing games since they started having stories, but I thought that the driving in Heat was good, wish I'd bought the game back when it was $3.
I'v heard good things about Unbound, but I've also heard that EA somehow went particularly egregious on the micro-transactions this time.
If you're gonna buy one I say get Heat for under US$10.

I tried NFS Unbound when it had a free weekend and the singleplayer was pretty good, but i wouldn't say it's worth over 25€. Just get Forza Horizon 5, OP

I hate how grindy the new racers are I don't want to drive same race 25 times just to get a lambo

I was gonna buy Heat, got hit with the Origin requirements, and dropped it like a rock. Bought Inertial Drift instead and it's been a blast. Real fun arcadey drift racer. Not the best on track variety and it doesn't use real cars, and the physics are super arcadey and change with every car, but honestly that's kind of my favorite thing about it.
