Without naming the games, how many live-service games do you keep up with, if at all?
I'm up to date with three, though I only pay the optional monthly sub for one that I like the most. I'm wondering if this is a lot, or if any of you g/u/rls are more insane

Only one being Genshin. Honestly, it's a lot harder to justify playing more than just this one with actually having a job and no time, but I used to play a lot more with it like NieR Reincarnation and I tried Star Rail but it's just not for me. And even then, I just log in for my Welkins in Genshin and go pretty often because of lacking said time.

ffxiv and also honkai star rail for me, still surprised i got into the latter. i kept up with fortnite for a few months but eventually got bored
can't imagine sticking with more than two, heck even one tbh. i pay my monthly xiv sub and honkai gemmies and try to keep up with both but im not constantly playing one or the other

I pay for two accounts for the mmo I play and take breaks to play console games every now and then, but yeah I don't think I could play multiple mmos or live service games at a time. It's usually one or the other.

One? Keeping up with just one live-service game is exhausting, I don't know how people could manage two or even three. When I get into an LSG it inevitably ends up as begrudgingly logging in for daily/weekly quotas and wondering why I'm playing a full-time job. I log more hours and have more fun in games that are fundamentally complete.
The only exception to this is Deep Rock Galactic, (of which I've played over 1k hours,) but it updates so slowly I view it as a finished game.

I'd like to say none, but there's one mmo that keeps becoming more time consuming and it's lost my interest a while ago but I still play it because nobody else in my guild has my class. I hinted at not being that much into the game nowadays and suddenly they started acting more buddy-buddy with me, as if I was looking for attention.
I do have the time to play this game, and I wouldn't be doing something productive otherwise. It's just that it feels... sigh...

Barely two. My main is F2P friendly mobile gacha game that I spend money to buy skin on. My secondary is a P2W gacha game on steam that I would never spend a dime on and only play because I like the characters.

I barely keep up with just one, swtor. I've tried adding other like StarRail, but I have always lost interest after a couple weeks at most, even though I actually enjoyed the game, especially its combat.
I might have kept playing star rail longer if I could play it on my switch or steam deck, my phone and laptop aren't really very good at gaming.

Love how none of you can read but I'm glad the convo still stays civil. Guess I'm the weirdo for keeping up with 3 at once, haha.
That's Genshin, Star Rail, and Arknights, btw. The one I paid and focus more is Arknights, which is easier to just pop in daily, while the other two are just when I feel like it, daily bonus be damned. I still play other single-player games too.... I swear I have a life outside of games too.
(I'm op btw!)

>>963156 I thought about listening but naming names just seemed more fun. Unlike our life-service games. Which are merely addicting.

I play a bunch, but actively keeping up with news and following it closely, only Overwatch. I used to follow Elite Dangerous too is one of my favourite games and by far the one I played the most, but then Odyssey happened and I dropped it

>>963156 without naming them, how many genres of music do you keep up with?
We read the OP and went along with everything except the silly rule, it's a better discussion if the games themselves are involved.

>>963097 tbf not every live-service demands you participate in a second full-time job. it varies, but the gacha i play demands 10-20 minutes at most everyday to do my dailies and weeklies and that's if i'm slow about it. i can just watch a video while i do it
