I've tried one step from eden and I kind like how fast paced it is. Building a deck with the roguelike thing is quite based on trial and errors. Still it's great to get the hang of the character adapting to whatever you have to deal with.

Since when I've found where it's mainly ispirated from. I was wondering if it were any decent to go "back" and see what it's like. Is it any challenging first? Are the early part very slow with giving you tools to tinker with? There is a lot of grinding before getting on the "main show"?

I think this is quite the niche genre so I don't want to push a full answer. just some random though would be just as nice

I like this game. I dont go too deep into the series but i find it pretty fun. Although trying to collect all the chips in each game can be pretty tedious. You dont need to collect them all to beat the game

BN is more slower paced, and there's more focus on building an actual deck and making combos. Difficulty-wise, they aren't too hard, barring post-game bosses. And there's a lot more to it than just battles. Exploring the net, collecting chips, an actual story, etc.
