What's a good thing about your least favorite game?

One of my least favorite in recent memory is the Legend of Alon D'ar for the PS2.
I'm a pretty big RPG fan, but it was notoriously empty level wise and actually leveling your party was tedious as hell. The combat system was a slog as well.
However, for its time, the graphics were pretty damn solid and the characterization wasn't terrible despite its flaws.

For me, Bravely Default 2. I wanted to like that game so much. BD1 was so damn pleasant to play and the main party was seriously charming.
The only things I liked about BD2 were the job and equipment systems. I guess some of the dungeons were alright too. Everything else was so fucking boring and predictable.

>>834991 You've reminded me to replay BD. Such a great game.

I don't know about "least favourite", but Minoria was pretty disappointing. It did, however, have an extremely cute slug girl.

Least favorite, Destiny 2; I can’t think of anything good about it tbh, maybe some of the coop.

How do you remember a bad game? I just push those memories out automatically.

>>835018 Honestly, in this case I just remembered that the game existed and then thought of this question, lol.

Resident Evil 6 co-op was fun as hell. Completely silly

I dislike Coffee Talk but I do think the aesthetic is stellar. I'd enjoy something like that with better writing and more thought-out world-building.
>>834993 Damn, it was? Minoria's been on my wishlist since I enjoyed Momodora RutM. I guess the different art style doesn't help the gameplay one bit?

Raging Blades was kind of shitty but the unlockable character was hot

>>835127 Nah, Minoria is pretty neat. Not as good as RUtM, but I still enjoyed it a lot. The art style is really hit or miss, some environments/models look quite good, some are pretty meh.

Have you kiddos ever played Shaq-Fu? I suggest you do, it's entirely terrible. But, it's terrible enough to be worth playing. The strong point is in just how ridiculous it is. The animations were pretty good, too.

I didn't like Oxenfree but i like the asthetic only. The rest is terrible or boring

i like the fun simplicity of the mechanics of designing buildings in project highrise but it can be so unplayable when one thing causes the entire building to be unlivable

Not least favourite, but a recent bad one was 50 Cent: Bulletproof What I liked was 50 Cent not being bulletproof and In Da Club as title menu music

I am Setsuna always had a sort of subtle post-apocalyptic quality to it. The stillness of the snow and the clam piano tracks always made it feel like civilization was slowly drifting into a gentle sleep under the blanket of winter.

>>835712 My favorite thing about that game was naming all of the characters Setsuna.

Undertale was at least good at shaking up its gameplay a bit for bosses to make them very distinct from each other.

I'm going to go with Brawlhalla. It has a pretty interesting rooster of characters and I like how they teamed with other game developers and TV shows.
... but I absolutely hate playing this game. The gameplay is too slow and not creative enough. The community is toxic [at least when I used to play] and the graphics are not impressive.
... and even so, I have 500 hours on it. I only stopped playing because they nerfed one feature I liked and I called it quits then.

>>835876 Which feature was it, can I ask? Put like 50 hours into it with friends when it first dropped.

>>835879 the old dodge which was change for a dash. You used to be able to spam sort of like a wave dash but fully invincible. It made very intense chase moments where the first one who dodged the wrong way would lose. Naturally, when they fully removed that I kept just sprinting into people's attacks. :P
Btw, it wasn't a bad choise to remove it. It was too broken and easily abused... but it got me the incentive to move on to other games. [Skullgirls now]
