Culdcept

| As someone who loves dice games, card games and RPGs, this franchise looks extremely interesting to me! Has anyone here played it? If so, please let me know what you thought of it!
I've been looking for something interesting to play, but I want to be sure I'm not wasting my money.

| It is good. I played Culdcept Revolt on the 3DS. There was a discord server when it came out and they hosted tournaments for the game. It is not a waste of money. You should like the 3DS version, you can play against CPUs if you can't find anyone to play with online or local.

| There are a lot of different synergies and combos you can comprise your deck with to face off against other people. It's like a yu-gi-oh board game. You can play up against 4 other players.

The 3DS one is definitely the one I've been looking at. I probably won't be able to play much online though. Is there a campaign mode or something like that in it?

| There is a campaign mode, I haven't played since the first 2 years since it was released. And according to the Culdcept wiki, it says Culdcept Revolt is latest rendition from the Culdcept series that is currently availiable. As far as I can remember, you are required to play through the campaign to unlock stuff that you can use them in free battles against CPUs, or other players.

| I say, get the game. The only downsides is that you play against CPUs. Meaning that the AI would do actions that actual human players wouldn't do if you were to face them competitively. But it is not too bad because you can adjust the gameplay rules and as well as their AI difficulty level.

| It appears that the game is still active, but it was mainly japanese hosted tournaments back then. This youtuber has been streaming it since launch, evidently.
Last stream was 5 days ago.

I just might then. Thanks for the info!

| Well, damn. Went on the eshop to check what the price of Revolt was, and it was 75% off. Wouldn't have had the money for it if it was full price, but, now I have it!
