Is Library of Ruina good?

| It looks like it might be up my alley - I really enjoy the visuals and the world/story, plus the music is just fantastic, but after the CBT simulator that was Lobotomy Corp I'm kinda scared to touch this one. Did any of you g/u/rls beat it? How was the experience, and how long did it take?

| Haven't played it, but I'm also interested. My friend swore up and down that it's a really good game.

| Guess it's even less popular than LobCorp :v
Well, decided to buy it on sale anyway. I guess I'll just play while positives outweigh the negatives and maybe drop it when they stop. But later, gotta catch up on a lot of LobCorp lore first.

| Yeah I thought there's gonna be more people who've heard of it here!

Tell me how it went? I don't think I'd play it anytime soon but I love hearing what other people think.

| Do I need to play LoboCorp to understand LoR?

| Mili.

| I've played library of ruina a couple of hours, and so far it's good.
The world building and the complex mechanics are insane. In a good way.

Not really! You can look up all the lore and plot and stuff on LobCorp online like I do, but I've heard that LoR is pretty much self-contained. And if you go blind you pretty much play from the perspective of the new MC who pretty much also stumbles into the Library blindly.

Yes! I love their music, and it seems to be closely interwoven with some of the more important battles in LoR, which is really nice.

I feel like a weird little alien for not liking them. I've only heard Mili from the soundtrack to Ender Lilies and, save for very few tracks, the music is AWFUL. Like, it sounds good for the first five seconds, but afterwards it's repetitive drag that grates on my ears.

Is the soundtrack to Library of Ruina anything like that? Because if it is that's a major nope for me.
