The Legend of Zelda

| Can we just talk about the TLoZ universe for a sec? Like, the games aside, can we just talk about the lore of this whole thing?
Because, that's some shit. All the timelines, the fucking deities and shit, the world and how it came to be and how it progressed under different conditions and shit?
Like, bruh. Even though I'm not a huge Zelda fan and haven't been able to get through most of the games I played, like, that whole lore makes me geek out and have a headache simultaneously.

| Oh yeah I get what you mean, The sheer amount of lore that franchise has is huge.

| I agree, I love them all I grew up with an snes, had a N64 and all so I'm biased but, I mean it was so original considering when it came out, and it made me Love the Alice in the wonderland vibe of Majora's even more.

| In case you haven't seen it, BDG made a video about it: https://youtu.be/Q-25c8Rsobw

Personally, I never really care much for Zelda lore, but I think it's fascinating how all the links/zeldas are different people on the same timeline(s) who are just fated to appear again and again.

Yeah! That shit! It's such a sick concept. Like, the whole chosen hero thing is kind of overdone just in general. But in this universe it's fated cycles of different variations of the same hero, the same goddess vessel that requires help from and cooperation with that hero, the same sort of darkness and reincarnations of it, and even some smaller characters, like Impa. Impa always exists as a mentor (and occasionally protector) of Zelda.
It just blows my mind every time.

Majora's Mask is so fucking cool. That world is insane, and, yeah. Very much Alice-like in a way. So interesting.

Yeah! It really is. Such an insane amount of lord, even down to little things like the architecture of some building having a lot of meaning. It's that kinda shit.
