Most uncommon and different game you ever played

| I'm looking for unusual games, may be by themes, gameplay or style. Stuff like

Ace Attorney

Trauma Center

Clocktower

L.A Noire

The Firemen

Shadowrun

Bomberman series

Or maybe stuff like Capcom's Arcade D&D or River City Ransom/Girls a mixture of RPG and Beat em Up, was quite interesting.

| There was this game Gunmans Proof for the snes, it was like Zelda Link to the Past, with guns.

| Pokemon Ranger. Drawing circles is an interesting mechanic for rpgs.

| I've yet to play anything similar to Killer7 in nearly every aspect.

| Roundguard.
Played it for the first time two days ago and it sucked. It is a roguelike-peggle game.

| Untrusted, Laserlife, Mirror Moon EP and Abyss Odyssey are definetly up there. D.M.T too but it's barely a game.

| Trauma center need port on modern systems so bad

| Irisu Syndrome is the only game I've seen mix tetris-like physics puzzle with psychological horror. And Murasaki, by the same developers, is definitely a weird mix of bullet hell and physics.

| Here's some games that I liked, not sure if their your pref.
Detention by RedCandleGames. 1950s Taiwan under martial law.
Papers Please by Lucas Pope. East/West German boarder guard.
One Step From Eden by Thomas Moon Kang. Deck building/DDR/Rouge Like.
Cross Code by RadicalFishGames. Scifi rpg about a girl in virtual world.

Rimworld by Ludeon Studios. A space scifi colony sim. Spent hundreds of hour, great community, mod workshop and flesh sofa chair making.

Oh, I replayed Detention not long ago. It's pretty cool.

| Uhhh. Black Rock Shooter for the PSP? It's a mix of JRPG and... on-the-rails shooter I guess? Except there are no rails, you only have two positions you can switch between in every encounter. Oh, and there are some "runner" stages thrown in too.

Also Knights in the Nightmare. Same system, also had a DS release I believe. A mix of TRPG and bullet hell. Yes, you read that right. It's pretty good, but cryptic as fuck and about as difficult.

| Thanks for the suggestions g/u/rls!

| Katamari Damacy - roll shit into a ball, make it grow
Chulip - do quests to get kisses from people
Legend of Legaia (haven't found another jrpg like it)

| Downwell - Rogue like reverse-platformer where your only attack is shooting directly underneath you

Baba Is You - Puzzle game about breaking down and reprogramming puzzle games

Severed - Abstract dungeon crawler with Fruit Ninja style combat

Subsurface Circular - You sit on a train for 2 hours, but it's good

Crawl - Dungeon crawler but the monsters, traps and bosses are also controlled by players and whoever kills the MC becomes the new MC

NO THING - Just wtf...

| Elona

| There is no game

| I'll limit myself to console games, because PC has some fuckin' wild stuff that I can't top. Probably gonna be all Japanese.

LSD Dream Simulator is a gimme, that game is a serious trip.

Shadow Tower: Abyss is strange in all the best ways, with a setting I'd love to see expanded upon. Wish it made it to an english release.

Cho Aniki... What the fuck, dude?

Shadow Hearts was less strange, more unique. Set itself apart from other RPG's with the setting. Koudelka too.

| Crypt of the NecroDancer: Rhythm based dungeon crawler

The Firefly Diary: Whatever that was

In Verbis Virtus: First person adventure game in which you activate spells by saying them out loud irl. It's really finnicky obv but the game is a vibe

The World Next Door: Real time combat in which you swap runes on the floor to cast different spells

| >>777571 I've played LSD, after that, I never had to use drugs to know how it is like to be high.

Oh, yeah! NecroDancer is sick! Such a unique concept and super well executed.

| Emulated Kowloon's Gate for PS1 and found it super eerie but loved the environments and characters

| Bpm bullets per minute, rogulike shooter that forces you to shoot, jump, and dash to the beat of the levels bgm

| Dota 3
