Recently bought a used PSP and a game for it (wipeout pulse). While at the store i saw a lot of used psp games, many of which i don't recognize. Maybe they're good and worth the money. Idk, any hidden gems you guys can recommend? I ask for hidden gems cause I'm definitely getting the big names eventually haha.

Gurumin was a fun little game on the PSP. I had a surprisingly good time with the Neopets hack'n'slash rpg. Ys had a lot of PSP games and ports, notable but usually under the radar. If you feel like importing, your selection opens up quite a bit; King's Field Additional and .hack//Link are fun games on that side.

The 3rd Birthday is a pretty fun 3rd-person shooter with a weird (but fun) mechanic and a hopelessly terrible story.

Brandish The Dark Revenant - a neat little dungeon crawler. Hexyz Force - very solid JRPG. Wild Arms XF - cool fantasy western TRPG. ZHP Unlosing Ranger Vs Darkdeath Evilman - kind of a roguelike, pretty weird but still nice. Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky - I know Cold Steel is all the rage nowadays, but people don't talk about this one enough. Gungnir - hard as balls but very interesting TRPG. Knights in the Nightmare - TRPG bullet hell, same series as Gungnir.

Persona 3 wouldn't really be a hidden gem would it? As far as I can tell P3P, MHFU, and Metal Gear: Peacewalker were the most popular games on PSP.

Ace combat and Black rock shooter easily. If you aren't going to play BRS at LEAST play it's OST. It's freaking amazing.

Even if you don't particularly enjoy dating sims, it is a great game and is on psp.
