Y'all think there's going to be Fighters Pass 3?
| Nah, I don't think so. The roster is big enough as it is.
| There are theories around it because there are 3 empty slots left for new stages (I don't believe that as it wouldn't be that hard to just put new slots or wouldn't be the first time there are empty on final update)
It would be great but I'm rather waiting for Super Smash Bros 6 so there are chances for assist trophies upgrading to fighter again who has deserved the fighter spot since Brawl.
| But a Figther Pass 3 would help gain more development time for SSB 6 so I'm hoping for it. Many wish for a Echo Figther Pass which would help towards people who think the roster is big enough, which I kind of agree as there are many filler fighters like all FE rooster, but disagree because a videogame celebration shouldn't left the important ones outside, which there are still lot of iconic franchises. There should be also a spot for stage only franchises, like a Tetris stage.
| Don't get me wrong with FE rooster, it's good to have this many, but I feel almost the entirity of the franchise is represented to add even more, when franchises like Zelda or Sonic are so bad represented.

I don't see another Smash Bros releasing, or even going into development, anytime soon. A new Smash Bros on the same system doesn't make sense and the Switch is still going very strong.
A new fighter pass featuring characters who were previously assist trophies is more likely than a new Smash Bros, I feel.

| No. There's not gonna be a third one. I think there's a good possibility that they release a couple, like, solo characters. Maybe, like, 2-3 one-off DLC characters spread out over the rest of the games lifespan, but a new pass ain't happening.
And, I mean, it's not like we need it either tbh. If the next two characters are solid then I honestly think the game's meta will be in a pretty good place.
| >>743558 Of course, I didn't imply it would happen soon, but Ultimate took 4 years in development, starting now on a new game will benefit when next console arrives. Also as supposedly Switch is at middle of it's life cycle (stated by Furukawa) it's enough of time to even let Sakurai rest or make something else if he wants to. I have waited 16 years for things that didn't happen, I think I can wait more.

| I sincerely think we just getting two more characters in Smash, but I would love another pass, even if it's just three characters and without Sakurai on command, but what y'all think?
