What visual novels are your favorites? Aside from Va-11 Hall-a of course. As for me, I've been reading a lot by Key, Tactics, and 07th Expansion lately.

Sekien no Inganock has a dope-ass setting, dope-ass art style, banging soundtrack, some literal banging (a pro or a con for some) and a fairly intriguing story. The minigame between chapters sucks balls though, definitely grab a guide for that.

>>743368 Oh damn I was going to mention Pyre as well but was worried it's not the kind of visual novel that op meant. Pyre's great, and I do feel like it's more a visual novel with the occassional fantasy football than the other way around.
Time to bust out my OELVN recommendation list again: https://pseudomon.wordpress.com/2019/12/06/just-a-visual-novel-recommendation-list/

>>743410 NitW on the other hand, definitely isn't a visual novel for me. It's more a point-and-click adventure game.
Then again the border between the two genres can be very blurry.

>>743453 I mean, story focused games and visual novels are two different things. Night in the Woods has a big focus on story, but it's not a visual novel. It just has a lot of dialogue. I can't speak for Pyre though. Haven't played it.

Everlasting Summer is really good but if you don't understand Russian the English translation has some issues, at least on Android.

AI The Somnium Files. I usually don't play VNs but Somnium is a huge exception because it feels like it was made and written with my tastes in mind.
