System Shock? There's a free demo on steam for the remake and it's awesome as fuck.
System Shock 2 wish graphics mods is pretty cool too.

Prey (2017). It borrows a lot from Bioshock!! First person systemic gameplay, detailed interactive environments that feel like places people live in,and a high concept story with meta & philosophical ideas.

singularity! it's like the closest to a soviet bioshock. it is special for me but probably not as good as the other games in this thread

I mean, System Shock and Prey has already been mentioned. It's a bit of a stretch, but if we'rere talking BioShock 1 specifically then Deus Ex is similar in the fact that it has, you know, all the systemic systems and stuff. Not really in vibe or combat system though (other than dark and shoot guns).
