The long dark
| Ohh, I used to play it before the story mode was released. Such a cosy little game.
I guess I should try it out again sometime, see what's changed since those days long ago

Started it like 2 years ago, but dropped it after an hour.
For some reason, picked it up again this week, and damn, I'm absolutely loving it so far, both on gameplay and visual style.
| Played it sometime after chapter 2 release. Heard both chapters were remade, so I'm curous about that, otherwise would wait for full story to release before replaying.
| I played it way back when it was in Early Access. The game improved faster than I can upgrade my computer though. Can't stand the lag/overheating at the moment, but I'm sure I'll pick it up again whenever I get a new PC.

The game was always great, and each update adds stuff that makes the gameplay feel refreshed.
One thing I love is the ability yo write journals in real time. Specially because you keep them after you die, so you can keep some record of what happened.
I have one entry that survived many days, but abruptly ends on:
"I need to get food. I'll try my luck at the fishing pond hopefully those wolves won't see me..."
| Long dark is great, has a really nice vibe and has come such a long way from the barebones game it was at the beginning of early access
| I loved it way back when, haven't played since they added the story mode. I got so far that I was too afraid to play again and potentially lose everything, which is a silly way to look at it
