IMDB but for videogames

| IMDB is an online database of movies and tv shows which allows you to track the stuff you watch, make lists, read reviews, find the people who worked on a movie, etc.

is there something related but for videogames? i think it would pretty cool.

| Kinda? Gamefaqs does come with reviews, it also has a tracker if I remember right. Never used either, there for the guides, cheats and boards.

And people who worked... Erh... Search it in a wiki.

| Well, there are games on IMDB you know

| There's metacritic. Closest thing is vndb, but it's a visual novels exclusive.

yes, there's video games but only when they have voice acting.

:( i'm kinda disappointed, i was sure sonething like that had to exist in 2020. thanks for the replies

| >>715010 I would say Steam is what fits this role the most. You can track what you play, make lists, read reviews and check the publisher and developer of it (thought is just the company, but to see who worked on it you check the credits I suppose). Plus guides, discussions and many more.

| Gamefaqs would be the closest thing, yeah. But idk, I haven't used it for years.

Otherwise, it's pretty scattered. Steam is only for games on Steam. I guess the closest thing would be How Long To Beat? But it's particularly geared towards what it says on the title, not necessarily a whole database.

i'm a steam hater sorry. it's just too bloated. some stuff like the forums for games are not bad in my opinion.
