What's your favourite Smash item?
| I can't say which are my favourites, but I can say I don't like a single item (neither assits thropy) and changes to existing items introduced since Wii U/3DS and they are a reason I don't play with items anymore because they are not fun and gives a lot of advantage. Friendly fire to self (not only allies) should be a toggle, bombs where so fun back in Brawl. The same goes with assist thropies, who are annoying and attack directly (back in Brawl it was more like minigames)

| ... Huh you know what I can't think of a single item that's, by itself, is fun to use. Items are just gimmicks to add variety, but I don't think too much about it.
I can say that assist trophies/pokeball are the ones I dislike the most, just because it tilts the balance too much. The animation and seeing the extra characters is fun, though.

Well, yes. But which of those gimmicks are the most fun, in your opinion? Or have you just not played enough to have an opinion? Because, well, that's fair. I only recently started enjoying it.

I'm asking for favourite in Smash, as in the franchise. So if you don't enjoy the items in Ultimate and 4 but you like the ones in Brawl, well, what's your favourites from Brawl?

None of them comes to mind. In fact the more I think about it the more annoyed I get at items. I should play with items off more often.
No wait I guess I like the beam sword because it gives lots of range, but on some characters it's annoying to use still.

This is probably a little niche, but, all the g/u/rls here who've played a bit of Smash Bros with items on, which are you favourites?
Mine are probably Beastball or Super Launch Star.
