Do you think that's a necesarry sacrifice? Personally, I'd rather they keep delaying the release. It ain't worth it, ain't healthy and I'd wait a few more years easily.

Don't really care about Cyberpunk or the company itself, but I find this situation to be absolutely fucking hilarious. That's the grave they dig up themselves, don't you think? The game is too overhyped to simply wait a few more years, a huge amount of people has already pre-ordered it and I don't really think they would be very fond of idea of waiting another year or more. The expectations are far too great, and it will ruin the game no matter what CDPR does

They dug the grave when they said there won't be more delays imo. But hype wouldn't have died should they delay it more. I doubt it will as much as ruin it with what gaming press has played already being good.

This is what happens when you think you can apply Hollywood's work style to anything and why producers and designers should be game developers or understand movie industry is shit to mimic it on anthing.

Terrible management, overhyped marketing, insatiable audience, and the devs are the ones paying for it. It sucks.

Well, it's not unusual...

don't care, they are paid and the extra time is not excessive. besides we can only judge through biased articles that we can hear so it's a meaningless discussion, if it's unfair labor unions should do something not journos and ""opinionists"". it's like when konami fired kojima and most of the web jumped defending kojima without knowing shit

Cruch with extra pay is fine, the mandatory one is not. As much as we love witcher series and CDPR we should not give them anymore free pass than this, or they'll slowly turn into EA & Ubisoft 2.0

That happens when you create a public that scraps every frame and second of the trailers to give themselves some hope thinking the game is great just because you add better lights and shit like that.

A delayed gane is eventually good, a rushed game is bad forever. So fuck mandatory crunching.
