I just sit there in front of my games shelf and digital library unsure of what to play. Sometimes I end up bouncing between games for a little bit but not enough to commit to a consistent playthrough till the credits roll. Anyone else ever had that problem?

All the time, fellow g/u/rl. All the time. You just have to commit to something. Maybe tell someone who has already played and liked that game that you're gonna play it so it would feel kinda like an obligation to play and finish it as well.

I'm commited! I am! I know I'm bouncing between like ten games and I keep being tempted to add more games to the pile but I'm still commited! To them all! Really!

Commit to the library. Let it consume your soul.

>>652514 when you put it that way, it reminds me of how I don't announce drawing something unless I was already working on it. Otherwise I'd just feel like a big fat liar.

>>653180 I still can't help but overthink my choices :( Doesn't help that I don't have the energy to stick with a game for as long as I usually did.

I relate to this a lot. I've finally found a few games that can keep my attention though. R6 and Minecraft for multiplayer. D3 for relaxing single player and very laid back multiplayer. Smash for competitive games. Mostly P5 for just single player.
So if you can manage to go through your library and find a few pretty different games to commit to, I guess, different moods, then it becomes a lot easier to manage.

There are many fun games out there. Just buy what seems like it'd be fun for you and you'll usually be on point. Broaden your horizon a bit.

All time for me. Play Perona 5 Royal. One of the RPG you could play right now.

>>653379 tbh I'm kinda aversed to picking up Royal. I know there's new stuff added, but P5 wasn't for me. I don't see Royal changing my mind.

>>653267 that sounds pretty helpful. I keep a diverse collection so I'll see what games playlist I can put together. Thanks, g/u/rl! :)

>>653627 Damn, this is literally me right now. I'm so fucking sick and tired of picking up something only to put it down in a week or so and do literally nothing for a while until I eventually pick up something else with the same results. But for some dumb reason I just can't make myself stick with one thing.

>>653713 I decided to do bachelors in science, since I would be able to pursue any majors for masters then. And in the end I ended up loving Biology. So now I've a masters in zoology, specifically marine zoology.

>>654658 I'm gonna be fair with you ok. I lived college exactly like it was. That's a place full of knowledge and professors that can guide you toward destinations you want to reach. It's also a place that not everyone is happy to be in. I've met my share of people that expected a "highway to diploma", and kept saying that the reason for failure is the shitty teachers. And because they can't put what they're learning into perspective, they decide to be hateful asses. Awkward stuff.

But it did fulfill all my expectations. Unfortunately, I feel like I needed to spend a lot more time there after graduating to have enough knowledge. But I was wrong. I learnt that I'm basically a student forever. I can learn anything, provided I drive myself to read about, experiment with, and use the material, and challenge your knowledge. My mind was blown when I looked back. In the end, I didn't 100% DECIDE wtf I was doing. But I ended up in a place I can like. Make any sense ?

OP here. Kinda on track to actually playing games instead of just being an indecisive bum. I cycle a few, yeah, but I finished a play through while stopping a few time sinks I got bored with. :D
