Nintendo Switch is magic

| I can play on my TV and then when I feel restless I can just... pull it out of the dock... and play elsewhere. I don't even have to turn it off first. Sorcery!

Heck, I never have to turn it off at all? I just put it to sleep mode and getting back to the game is instant. Sorcery!

To the g/u/rls who told me to get regular Switch instead of Switch Lite, thank you. I love this piece of sorcery.

Seeing how tech was back then, it was a little impressive, sure Ps Vita and some tablets could do the same thing except they never experience to do it because they were too worried on unimportant things and they died.
Sleep mode in consoles comes from at least 2005, welcome to the future.
Other than this sarcasm, enjoy the console, is fun but make sure to not drift your way, buying third joy-consXD

| But can you have sex with it?

Ey, cut me some slack. I was mostly a PC gamer AKA spend a minute waiting for the machine to boot up and then crossing my fingers that the game I got will even work and then putting up with lags because the spec doesn't fit actually.

To just have everything work to this degree... Truly the Dream.

| >>593563 I have a 2015 laptop that boots FF XV 60, yeah boots can take 1 minute, but is that a problem when computers needed 30 minutes to boot up years ago? Specs are a problem yeah, that's why there are pages like Can You Run It and devs leave recommended specs on all their games. This is on the user's hand if it lags unlike Switch, where you get the risk to get games like Ark and Saints Row and you can do nothing about them.

Actually years ago personal computers've been booting up almost instantly, only loading up external data could take a while (still def not 30 minutes, lol)

>warp lydia ass

It's kind of on you though if you buy a game like Ark that is far from optimised on PC and has the kind of devs that most likely care more about quick money than a proper port and buy it on Switch without checking reviews to see if it runs there.

| Heh, I guess I should say mid-range-laptop gaming instead of PC gaming. Yeah, it's def on me if the spec of the games don't fit my system, but I feel there's always a problem or two even if it does.

That said, is there any Switch game that runs badly? I thought Nintendo has a pretty high standard.

There's a wrestling game there that barely works. I think Rime runs like shit too. If you see a game you know requires high specs you should just research it. Yes, they have excellent ports of DOOM and Wolfenstein II, but the team that ported those know what they're doing. A lot of them don't. Most ports run fine, but just be careful.

| >>593798 I've heard some not so great things about how Astral Chain runs, which is a shame if true
