Everyone is thinking of Tracer.
But if we consider both old-franchise and female+mecha
Then we get Tron Bonne, she had an old game and they are releasing Megaman Zero Collection so maybe they didn't announced it for Switch yet because of this. The only thing she doesn't match is the boy part, but she has everything else

And any Megaman form is already in Megaman's Final Smash, and they said they weren't repeating series. Tron Bonne is like Yoshi, they belong to the series but at the same time no plus she has been in every Capcom Crossover game

I wish BRS got some love, but Smash is way too much coming from an RPG few people know abandoned for years. Maybe a reboot game need to come first.

It's true ZX didn't get any spirit but I doubt they are counting Megaman ZX a different series to Megaman or Megaman X. They said they won't be repeating and I don't see the relevance of these ZX characters alongside Hero, Joker or Banjoo. Of course people would be dissapointed, they are paying money for a character from a game they will be able to play once and never again.
