Unskippable ads on a full paid game, what the fuck EA?
Let's hope this practice stays only on the sports games and dies out quickly.

People are going to buy their sports games no matter what. And when they do, the suits will claim the model is a success. Just don't buy their games, none of them are worth their shitty practices.

>>573838 People will anyway. You and me don't matter in the big picture.

>>573858 That's what I meant. I was mostly saying don't get caught up in the hype of their releases and save yourself the frustration.

I though their sport games where already playable ads. It's just a small arm of what these sport organizers (FIFA) can, I would rather call it mafia. Curious data: They promote football players who often are discovered to be rapers or are on some illegal shit. Later they have to remove them from the portrait.
I'm sorry, I would normally attack EA, but Sports companies are worst.

>>573960 The thing is they're impeding gameplay by forcing a person to watch an ad instead of playing the actual game. If this practice becomes widespread, consumers will be screwed.

>>573965 Final Fantasy XV had an ad that was literally a mission. Outside this, this practise will be finished, and while not, those who imitate EA won't deserve a single cent. Anyhow I doubt EA will do so in other "true" games, with how many decoration there is in Sims games, there is no single reference to any real brand, so don't worry too much. Well if you like Epic games and eSports games guess what will be the future and why are you so scared.

>>573970 but I doubt even Sony would do this kind of souless policy. Just don't worry, ads it's EA having to remove their pants for sport companies. Don't consume these promoting sport games and everything will be ok.

>>573972 But fifa is addicting though. I guess pes will do if it ever gets that terrible but stopping game play for ads is disappointing to say the least.

Um OP pretty sure you're talking about 2K's NBA 2019 Game which added that shit

I, too, have no idea what OP's saying. And I just can't imagine it. Branding all over the place, sure, most sports game players even like that. But, unskippable full-screen ad?
