What's the best game design book or course you could suggest?

| Beginning Game Development with Python and Pygame: From Novice to Professional
It's both the worst and best I've read because it is the only one I've read
By the end of the book I could make a simple thing but discovered I actually don't like coding in python

Thanks for the suggestions! But I feel like that's maybe not quite what I'm looking for. I can already make some simple arcadey stuff, but I would much more like to learn about designing something a bit more complex, both in terms of project structure, and of actual design aspects of a videogame.

| The best way to understand game design is to play many various games, with a curious mind.
