YAKUZA
| A longtime fan here. No need to rush kiwami since the pre-order discount is no longer here.
Currently button mash is bugged. It is tied to FPS, so if you play in 120fps, you'd have to button mash twice as fast. Just wait a bit untul it is fixed or wait for discount.
Go play premium yakuza 0, finish all substories, unlock all moves, beat up mr shakedown a couple more times.
| I started up Yakuza 0 in excitement but on steam somehow it fucked up my controller keys. Square = X, X = Circle, Circle = Square, and Triangle = Triangle. So after struggling to complete the fuckin prologue I put it on the back burner for now.
| Yakuza 0 is a piece of art. It easily became one of my most favorite games. Just started to play Yakuza Kiwami and so far it's not that great, but there is still hope for it

| I played the first one on PS2 last year to begin the series. It's a little clunky but worth it, I hear the Kiwami games took out some things from the original games but not sure how much, maybe try those. If someone knows what is removed, let me know. I always like playing the original versions because it's weird how remakes just kinda replace the old versions. Also, the english dub has some pretty funny moments.

It adds Yakuza 0's multiple fight styles.
It adds some background story for Nishiki.
Unrelated note, having played it after Yakuza 0, rhe boss fights in Kiwami are a bit unfair. Most of the time, rush style is the only usable style since everyone and their mother has super armor, insta guard, and dodge spam.
