Toastergrade offline recs?
| play spelunky, la mulana and stardew valley. I'm sure you'll enjoy spelunky because it has a high replay value since it's literally a procedurally generated game where you just past through levels while trying to survive as a miner.

Spelunky is fucking awesome. Just get that. It'll be the only game you'll need for a while.
| Shovel Knight too, since it's the best platformer ever made. Only problem with there would be that it's getting an update in not too long. Don't know when you're getting your internet back, but Shovel Knight is still worth it either way.

Enter the Gungeon lags on PS4 though. I doubt it would run smoothly on OP's computer. Isaac is kind of the same.

| Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup - the absolute toastergrade masterpiece. Or ToME for something a bit more modern.
Risk of Rain is also great, although may slow down a bit when a lot of stuff is on the screen.

The ports must be sh!t because I have played them on all types of PCs and EtG (on low settings for max performance) runs fairly well whereas TBOI runs flawlessly unless your build generates an absurd amount of tears

I have never seen Isaac lag, but it was just a guess. I guess the EtG ports must be shit then. At least the PS4 one. I've had no problems with it myself on Switch, but I've seen some complaints and stuff.

| EtG runs on some of the potatoest computers I've ever used. You just need to turn off the shaders and shadows and it runs super smooth.
