| It's in a pretty modern setting, yeah. I'm interested to see how the world turns out. The racism thing was kind of covered by ROM though, so I hope they do more with it than just that. Usually the best way to push a narrative isn't by bringing it up on the table directly anyways, but rather by introducing it through event, and while I understand it's merely a demo, it's kind of lackluster.
Also, who's bright idea was it to let us discover the coffee recipe by ourselves?

this just looks like a lame reskin tbh, could've been a bit more original than changing from rad animu cyberpunk into animu shadowrun current year edition and turning alcohol into coffee
| I'm actually friend with one of the devs. He really liked the chill atmosphere of VA-11 Hall-A, but he's not a drinker and coffee shops are way more common around here than bars. It's inspired by VA-11 Hall-A, but he's drawing from his own experience too.
And heck, I'm totally down for va-11 hall-a but shadowrun current year edition.
... Though I'm kind of worried the fantasy setting will feel tacked on.
| If the devs could bring up how the different races came to be and evolved from, that'd make it much more interesting. Too many times fantasy just drop these races in the story as if it's common knowledge why they're there.
