What's your favourite bad game?

| Games that really aren't that good, but ones you can't put down for some reason or another? Metro conflict has some bad balancing issues, as did Paragon. Really, they aren't "good" games. But man are they fun!

| Final Fantasy XIII is a textbook example of bad game design. The gameplay is great, but only in the very specific way that the dev intended and it's frustrating to figure that out. The story overall is great, but its execution is complete bollocks.

And yet I still love it. When the pieces fall the right way, it can be transcendent.

| the first watch dogs, there's somethinl that just clicked for me with that game that made me love it

Ah shit, came here just to drop this shitty bait, but it seems that I'm too late.

| Personally I also found the first watch dogs to be great, sure the characters were a bit dry but to me it felt like a pseudo batman vibe and a sort of blank slate for you to put your own personality into, plus the digital trips were amazing, the driving though a bit weird had the amazing feat of being able to use the same slow motion ability you can use while gunslinging so you get really sharp turns and feel great, then there's also the gambling,(I've found myself reinstalling it)

| Va-11 Hall-A

| Sonic 06. Its a huge pile of shit but it's so fucking fun to mess around with glitches and stuff and I do quite enjoy the gameplay at some points

| Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines.
By no means is it a completely bad game. Despite countless bugs and the game being half finished, the community patches and the story make it worth a playthrough. Honestly, it leaves a lot to be desired and I mean that in a good way! The haunted house level is one of my favourite game levels of all time!
The setting and backstory have so much potential, and if CDPR were to pick it up, man that would be amazing!

| >>453535 Paradox did pick it up and wants to make a new RPG and a TV-series.

Clan Quest Mod 4.0 released recently and it's so fucking great. The Dance of the Trashing Dragon Quest was the best thing I've played in a long time. It's even better than the official quests and even Witcher 3s. It's genuinely that good.

| Warframe. Literally just the same core gameplay and a slow trickle of story.

Still good for some mindless dynasty warriors style mob killing every now and then...

| Drakengard 3. So many glaring problems, but I couldn't stop going back to it.

| >>453539 this looks amazing! Just in time for my malk playthrough too! Do you know if it's compatible with the GOG version?

| >>453559 Yes it works fine with the gog version but the mod runs on wesps unofficial 9.2 patch and not the 10.1 version that comes bundled with gog. You can have both installed at the same time with no conflicts but you can only run one at a time. Just make sure you start the game with the Clan Quest mod shortcut and you're good to go.

It adds tons of special content for the malk too. I started playing one yesterday.

God yes, Drakengard 3 is terrible, but it has so many things that make it brilliant.

| >>453572 Thanks for that! I got it installed and ready; now to wait for my exams to finish to start playing! :D

| Adventure Quest Worlds
the grind is repetitive but i just cant not stop logging in

| Unterdale

| >>453839
That game is still running??

| >>453853 it sure is
A significant decrease in both servers and players tho

| >>453575 The characters and story of Drakengard 3 are what kept me playing bit. Altough I'm not sure if I'll ever beat ending D. The lag and sound design make that final boss much more difficult than it should be...

| Dark souls remastered -_->

| > Baroque (Wii/PS2/PS1/Saturn)

I played the remade version of the game, and its myriad of flaws are quickly apparent. Sluggish main character, rather primitive graphics, slow and simplistic combat, absurdly vague, etc. But I was so taken in by its atmosphere and charmed by it being a straight forward roguelike that I could not help but adore it in ways. Even though I no longer have the game, I am still fond of it.

| There's so much wrong with The Order: 1886 but I adore its setting and attempts at low-key intrigue.

| >WipEout Fusion(PS2)

Despite being the most unpolished game in the WipEput franchise, me being the mega-fan that I am for the games had me coming back because of the how different the flow of the game was to the newer gen sequels.

Its not everyday you get by three Quake Disruptors in a row, or have team-based super weaps that can fuxk you over easily.

| >Dino D-Day

| >>453546 I like Warframe but damn it gets tedious.

I really like a game called Monolith, but it's too small to play a lot.

| It's a mod, but Underhell. Serious lack of polish but for only a handful of devs it was really fucking ambitious. Single player, story driven FPS that shamelessly steals elements from metal gear and silent hill.

Also you can decapitate people by jump kicking them, and then steal their helmet.
