| With its release scheduled for September 4, thousands of players have decided to revisit Hollow Knight while awaiting the arrival of its sequel. This movement has been directly reflected on Steam, where the original title has registered a new audience record.
In the last 24 hours, more than 39,000 people have played Hollow Knight simultaneously, almost double the previous peak, set in May 2022, when around 20,000 players were connected at the same time.
