Seeing this board dying is making me feel sad. Tell me what games you're playing.
I've been really into arcys fighting games. Mainly playing Guilty Gear Strive and also Granblue Versus on the side. Thinking of reinstalling my old Blazblue Cross tag too.
Also playing Expedition 33. I'm about halfway through, but I'm taking my time with it.

I’ve been playing Corn Kidz 64, it’s a 3D platformer. I’ve been vibing with those recently. Gotta pick Pseudoregalia back up too.

>>1057837 Maybe I should look into some of those considering I've been playing every 3D platformer on the N64 to hell and back.

I've been playing borderlands 3 which so far isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. that said the character writing really is pretty abysmal along with the games performance, frequent huge fps dips on a pretty beefy rig. but still, I've been having a surprising amount of fun with it!

>>1057842 I thought it was barely passable garbage and me and my borderlands loving siblings didn't even finish it. Not only is the writing abysmal, what's up with all the noisy special effects that clutters the screen every time you shoot? You can barely see the enemy because they're covered in unessesary special effects. I also found the classes to be boring except the mecha. It killed the franchise for us and we haven't touched Tiny Tinas spin-off even though we got it for free.

>>1057841 they are both very good games. Pseudoregalia has my fav movement tech in any 3D platformer I’ve played. You can slide jump to gain momentum and maintain that momentum by bunny hopping. I have found little practical use for this outside of moving fast as fuck, but I had a geek out moment when I figured out you could do it.

>>1057850 I might check them out if I got the time. Between work and being on the board of two organisations I only have a few hours of gametime each week and I'm usually too exhausted to play.

At last weeks I plays "ivan", if found some minutes for an entertainment. This game I found in OS repository. It is a rouge-like pixel turn-based game with view from top and with survival and adventure elements.
But want back to HoM&M III. Needs recompile vcmi package, but hands doesn't reach it.

Been playing Lords Of The Fallen with a friend now that they made a free friends pass... Game is actually a pretty good soulslike. It's not the most polished pearl out there, but it makes up for it with cool designs and unique shit

Finishing up as much optional stuff as possible before the ending for Expedition 33, I'm so deeply in love with this game and I'm shocked by how many of the side areas despite having little to no dialogue are just as interesting, well designed and memorable as the main areas
Also been trying out Zakuzaku Actors which is very promising so far, and redownloaded PoE2 since I played the shit out of it when early access started but it's been a while now

I've been playing through Dark Souls for the second time, this time as a magic user. Not exactly going to blow anyone's mind with this revelation, but it's really good! I also recently played a profoundly stupid game called Catgirl which might suit the tastes of some g/u/rls here.

Got Killer Frequency for free and it's surprisingly decent considering how dumb the premise is.
You play as a radio host in the late 80s and all 911 calls gets routed to your radio station because the local police got killed by a serial killer leading you to guide your callers to safety while they're being stalked by the killer and for some reason you never bother to take the radio show off the air while helping these people. It's so dumb but surprisingly fun.

marvel rivals and TF2 intermittently
also been getting back into borderlands 2, probably gonna do my first modded vanilla playthrough in years (meaning it's not BL2 Reborn or something)
mainly because i realize i never actually got to play with a lot of the nutty endgame stuff like unkempt harold etc

>>1059029 I have now finished Catgirl! I didn't realize city girl was one of the devs! Used to listen to their music so the comfy ost was bringing me back. Was surprised how long the game felt even though it was only a few hours, but it stayed pretty consistently charming throughout. Loved the dancing mushroom's scenes. And didn't expect the variety of minigames it had. If I'd spend money on it I wouldn't complain.

>>1059319 Yeah, I found out about it via following City Girl as it happens! And agreed, I'm surprised they gave away such a polished game for free.
