| I was a part of plenty of RP communities. I supposedly made friends there. Well RP is pretty much dead and for months and months to come the servers would be more of hang outs than anything else.
Nothing bad in that as it's just a natural thing. But what sucked for me is how bad I felt there and alienated. For example I suggested that we should do something at specific hour. They say they've no time for that so I went on to do my things. Then I return to see that

| they organized the same thing half an hour later and didn't even notify me.
Another situation is with a private chat and group where they'd post NSFW. I was usually quiet there but I'd sometimes post the smut and all the time there was just chicanery instead of literally any constructive criticism. The thing that made it the worst for me when they began implications of me being schizophrenic when I'm completely not, yet they try to gaslight me into becoming a schizo for KEK

| And then there's also the matter of leaking my actual personal matters which I stated to not share with others in DMs yet next day everyone knew about my private life.
Alongside constant "fuck you" and then pointless "sorry it's a joke, chill" I just decided that this is literally toxic and I left. They bombarded my DMs with messages to answer them and return but I'm not doing that.

Is it the age gap? I'm 27 and the oldest people there were 18 and it averaged between 16-18 overall, are they just zoomers in their natural habitat? Like I was asked an opinion on something for example. I elaborate on it why it has negatives for me and they take it as a personal attack and just diss me for disliking what they like. Why even ask me for an opinion then?

yeah, there's a culture gap there. zoomers grew up on discord, not 4chan like you have. and i would suggest you try to deprogram yourself from 4channery in any way that you can be troubled to. its just as corrosive as what they're going through.

I'm 23 and the young zoomers are a mystery to me too sometimes; often the only thing we seem to have in common is a hatred for K-12 school. Many of them have been on the internet their whole life and the brain rot that brings shows, but they are better adapted to using the web for socializing (in the bizarre ways that they do). Given some time I'm sure they'll mellow out tho
