Interestingly, when I find a shitpost type of thread, I rarely get that syndrome and post something no matter what.
It's like when I have nothing "interesting" to say, I say whatever I want. Although I'm not trying to say that shitposting is not important. To me, shitposting just feels right when it's a good time and/or a good place to shitpost.

I used to, but I've stopped. Partly because posting is how you get follows on social sites(I still post once in a blue moon, tho) and partly because if no one cares, then it being out there isn't going to bother anyone. Be free g/u/rl, say your piece.

| How often do you type up a post or commont online, then delete it because you realize nobody gives half a shit about your rando opinion? I think I would interact with this and other sites twice as often without that impulse.
