Not for work or school, I mean just to kill time. I swear there used to be more websites with random interesting things to do and/or look at, but now it feels like it's the same five websites and your choice of music player. Was Flash dying the catalyst for all this?

Try using Wiby.me, or search marginalia. Both of them are alternative search engines that put you in contact with the sorts of websites you're talking about. They even both have randomizer options if you really want stumble on something new.

Mostly reading stuff, watching video essays, chatting with people in the usual places (take a guess). Especially the first two. It's not as cool as it sounds, I have nothing to do with all this information and it's just wasted brain space. There's still cool stuff out there, but, contrary to popular belief, the internet is becoming more of a closed space with each day. Learn how to find stuff beyond googling it. Learn another language (you just need to read, not be fluent).
