| I don't know if it's exactly trip-hop, but anyway I think I've identified a certain genre which had it's heyday around 1995-2005, which features strong bass, airy, 'sultry' female vocals and a sometimes 'light' classy feel.
To me it always comes off as sort of 'sleek' and 'urbane'
