I've been exercising for awhile because I wanted to get physically fit before crossdressing and soon enough I'll be 6 weeks in. Do any g/u/rls have advice on stuff like fashion, how to dress for public without being self conscious, extra hygiene practices? etc. etc. If I'm going to commit to this soon then I want to be informed on everything important.

there are some good femboy exercise guides out there. in general, you want things that will make your shoulders seem narrower and your hips wider. Nothing tight around the chest, and long skirts are easy to wear. Collars or chokers help, too. are you starting from nothing and no experience? and are you just doing this for fun, to eventually pass, or perform? Those are 3 very different styles.

>>953783 Starting from zero experience. >and are you just doing this for fun, to eventually pass, or perform? Short version is that I've always found effeminate men cute and I want that for myself. As for goals I want this to be a glowup process so I guess I'd want to "pass" for that aesthetic.

>>953855 I'm sure you'll be the cutest~ >zero experience but first, you need to measure your hips, waist and bust! get a measuring tape, the loose kind, or a piece of string or rope, to measure the circumference. Then look up what those measurements mean in your local sizing charts. this will tell you what sizes to look for when shopping for clothes. for makeup, read 'Making Faces', it's foundational. even a simple foundation and light accents make a huge difference! It's a skill!

>>953855>>953868 now, you are going to be nervous no matter what, so don't let that stop you. the common advice is to shave everything below the neck, and it's a good idea. cleanliness and being clean-shaven, especially with a pair of stockings or hose, will really make you feel different in the best way.

>>953855 I think by passing they meant as a girl not like femboy just to clarify
Either way I'd definitely recommend shaving and starting a skincare routine, part of what's expected with that astetic is soft smooth skin plus It just feels great and makes tucking more comfortable with less hair in the way imo, that is if you wear pants that you want/need to tuck in

Since there's only g/u/rls here I assume you meant buying men's clothes? I've bought coats from men's section before just because I swear they're warmer and have actual pockets

OP again. I tried for a full body shave but the electric razor I was using ran out of battery before I could get everything so I'll get back to it later. BUT I feel a little different already!

>>954263 <3 glad to hear it
Hopefully you're skins nicer than mine I have very sensitive skin and almost always seem to get razor bumps on my upper thighs and bikini line
I personally use something like veet for sensitive skin *down there* because I'm too chicken to go around the bits with a razor, it's basically a cream that dissolves hair or weakens it until it can just rub off with a sponge or something so that's something else you could try
