Most fucked up movie you ever saw?

| Probably Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom. It's adapted from some 17th/18th Century Novel by Marquis De Sade (From whose name the term 'Sadism' is derived.).

It's about a group of politicians stealing away to a private mansion in fascist-occupied Italy during WW2. They kidnap over a dozen teenagers and bring them to the mansion for weeks of sexual torture.

It's not hugely gorey until near the end, but it's quite shocking nonetheless.

| In fact it was almost excessive at times, to a farcical degree. I remember there was one scene where two of the politicians made two of the kids, a boy and a girl, get naked and start making out. Halfway thru the two kids start to get really into it; really pawing at each other and the like. U can see where its going...Then all of a sudden one of the old guys rushes forward, all pissed, and shouts, "No! Don't! YOUR VIRGINITY IS MINE TO TAKE!!" Despite everything, I LOL'd at that!

| I also remember watching a film called 'Combat Shock'. About a poor-ass Vietnam Vet struggling with PTSD and having to raise a kid that looks like something right out of Eraserhead.
Everything about that film looked so dirty and desolate. I think they filmed it in Detroit or some hole in Manhattan or some shit. I think its power came from that overbearing urban brutality.

| Anything from Sono, love of melons, Goth, naked director or any Japanese movie

| The Seventh Continent

| >>952578 the seventh continent is not remotely fucked up, sis. not more so than capitalist society is fucked up. the movie just shows you where we're headed as a species.

| Japanese film called audition which had some piano wire based limb dismemberment and the villainess keeping her delimbed victims on a bag or backpack like a fucked up pet.

| Also a b tier 80s movie called exterminator because it had a detailed scene where a guy is slowly lowered feet first into a meat grinder. I was like 12 when my dad showed me that film.

| probably Requiem because i dont sesrch for fucked up media

which is ironic because ive actually read 120 Days of Sodom (as well as plenty of other de Sade)

I hear the book is even worse. I recall hearing something about a maid who had sores in her cunt so the only sex she could have was anal?

| >>952637
the book is both worse and not

it's so incredibly lurid and descriptive that it becomes genuinely hilarious. there is the overarching plot of the french noblemen going to the remote castle with a bunch of children and teens, as well as their respective wives, mistresses, and maids. one maid, Duclos, is probably the one you are referring to.

it's nothing id ever recommend but somehow i find it v entertaining and strangely illuminating as to the depths of human depravities

| >>952502 A Serbian film

| >>952644
that is, allegedly, the reaction the Marquis de Sade was attempting to invoke.

>>952502
while >>952774 and your suggestions fot the graphically disturbing, I'll recommend something psychological.
Mad God.
It's a twisted masterpiece and monument of ambition, being made over 20 years by one man. The first half sent me into a malaise of despair that lasted a few days, and I'm fairly jaded. Only watch of you want to cause damage to your own psyche. The 2nd half isn't as good.

| My picks would be Nekromantik 1 and 2. They're german gore/sexploitation movies about a necrophiliac couple and their exploits. Spoiler: Just because you die in the first film it doesn't mean you can't be in the sequel.

August Underground and August Underground Mortem are pretty graphically disturbing, at least they were at the time of release. They're found footage films about serial killers who tortures their victims and rapes their corpses.

| While I haven't seen it I've heard bad things about a movie called Carcinoma. Everyone I've spoken to who've watched it said they felt like shit for days afterwards and that it may be the most depraved movie ever made.

>>952794
I didn't know Mad God was that bad. The trailer made it look kind bad-ass tbh.

| American Psycho

| Visitor Q.

| Sweet Movie. One of the actresses got exiled from her homeland Poland because she starred in it.

Many people couldn't stomache Salo because of all the disgust - but unlike this movie, it was all practical effects. In Sweet Movie it's the real thing.

| >>953052 do I even want to know?

| >>953080
I haven't watched it and I never will, but I've heard of it because of its infamy.

As I said, there are no practical or special effects. It's all real and there are scenes were they eat shit, puke on each other, piss on each other, unsimulated sex, straight shota that's dangerously close to being illegal and shots of the victims of the Katyn Massacre for some reason.

It's a surrealistic avant-garde comedy-drama and is therefor considered an "artsy" movie lol

| The Children of Leningradsky

| Poughkeepsie Tapes

| I don't watch movies much, but I think Threads is out there. It's about what happens *after* a nuclear holocaust, and it's not pretty, shockingly enough.

| Maybe it's too mainstream recently but Alice in borderlands is fun.. imagine combination of Gantz, BR, Squid Game, Lost and nice Alice in Wonderlands references

| Not as fucked up as some of the other movies here, but the most fucked up one I've seen is I Stand Alone

| The Road is also bleak from what I remember. The post fallout bleakness, the scene where they are trying to flee from the cannibals basement, the question of morality and safety being 'do you eat people' , it sticks with you
