but I don't :/ we've been together for 9 months and since we're both still pretty young (18 & 19) idk if it's a good idea to be thinking about things like that and that we should be enjoying our time with each other instead. But on the other hand I don't know if it's not a waste of time to stay together if we know that we might break up in the future because of that.

I mean, why spend your time with someone you probably don't have a future with, if there's so many other people out there. Idk, maybe I'm overthinking things. Sorry for the rambling g/u/rls, I'm just kinda conflicted right now. And yeah we talked about this, but she's the kinda person that would throw away her future just for me to be happy, and I don't want that, so yeah, idk.

break up.you two have different needs that do oppose each others. there is no need to waste anymore time after you getting such news of her's. Unless she's moody volatile who just tries to get on many things randomly for fun or she's a huge known prankster. you simply stop giving a fuck. there is still a lot of time to live. just don't look back too much for nostalgia, so you can manage to hold a bright future.

>>c612cd well I guess she is pretty moody since she has severe mental health issues, but idk if her choice of wanting kids will ever change, and I don't wanna take any chances. I'll have a proper talk with her about this tomorrow, but thanks for your output. Maybe breaking up is the only choice, we'll see.

>>939897>mental issues you know, maybe you could take a harsh move and try to train her to obey you since she may has lost her reasoning and just went full clincy on you. This takes even more further time to be invested tho. So it just depends on how much you really hold her supportive for your desired future.

OP, y'all both too young to have kids. Do you both have decent paying jobs? No? Then how will you afford those kids? Kids are way more expensive than you think they are OP. Besides, kids only 9 months in? Heck no. Especially if the relationship isn't super strong. Maybe she wants is to break up with you and get child support? It's way too dangerous to introduce kids into the mix at this stage of the game OP. Don't do it.

Lemme add my 2 cents: she mentioned she wants kids, but that doesn't necessarily mean she wants them sooner rather than later. Also, you say you don't want them, but there's this meme about the biological clock, and let me tell you, it is not a meme, and it can happen to men too. Who knows, maybe in a few years you change your mind about kids.

>>7a9812 I forgot to mention that obviously she doesn't want kids now, more like in idk, 5-6 years, but even that's a bit early for me.

well, it's not as simple
you're a faggot for being too afraid to settle she's selfish for wanting to bring kids into the world basically without first making sure they have a stable growth environment (good fucking luck getting that sorted by 24)
you two belong with one another

most guys don't want kids at first, but then they're all like "she/he's my treasure/reason to live"
anyway you're too young, you don't even know that you will still be with her in 6 years, you're overthinking it

>>940214 yes, of course, because most guys' life will be reduced to making money as much as possible to feed his wife and kids for the next 17 years.

>>940234 because I don't want to live with anxiety abd regrets anymore.
>>940238 who would have thought... anyway I'm just observing and stating what I see. I'm 24 and really don't want kids now, but I know things can change after 15 years. Taking care of others is a form of happiness so it makes sense, thou I would probably be more comfortable with adoption.

btw tell the girl you don't want kids and talk with her, before breaking up with her immediately.
What I'm saying is that a lot of girls imagine immediately being with the love of their life and a lot want to become mother eventually. So maybe your next gf will be the same. Tell her you're too young and will probably don't want kids before 35.
