I went to get a haircut today and I was too shy to articulate what I actually wanted. They cut off everything in the back that I spent like two years growing out. I'm pretty sad about it right now.

Oof, I've been there, OP. It really sucks at first, but try to treat it as an opportunity to try some new styles! And when the hair grows back to the desired length eventually, remember this lesson.

>>801021 fuck I should have kept my receipt!
Thanks for the pats g/u/rls. I feel mostly better now. And at least feeling sad means I'm getting my normal emotional range back after I've been depressed for the last year, so it's not all bad.

>>801094 I'm glad to hear that g/u/rl! Being sad isn't fun, but feeling regular emotions again after a long depressive period is always a good sign. And, ay! I recommend you do as >>801047 said and try to experiment with it. Might find a new style you like.

Butreally, I feel you here. That happened to me about 5 years ago and well... I have not gotten a haircut ever since! My hair is down me but now. Just give it time!
