why can't I find something to devote my life to

| I just want to find something that I can enjoy every time that I do it. How am I supposed to find something like this in my 20s? I think any passion that someone has is something they were introduced to when they were very young and so it's only natural for them to be passionate about it. like, if you are a twenty something years old looking for something to be passionate about it's gonna be very hard if not impossible because the time to be passionate about anything has passed.

| Sounds like you need to devote yourself to sex.

| >something that I can enjoy every time that I do it
This does not exist. There's nothing that you can do that you will always enjoy no matter what. Even if your job is something you enjoy, you will always need time away from it.

Maybe stop looking for "something to be passionate about" and just try all sort of new things and enjoy it when you enjoy it.

| The notion that 20 year old+ people have grown out of the ability to be passionate doesn't ring true to me. What do you base this observation on, OP?

| Try reading and writing about philosophical topics. This will force you have a better understanding of what you actually want and value in life. You can't have a purpose without knowing why if someone else never handed you one.

| >..it's gonna be very hard.. because the time to be passionate about anything has passed.

>"Time to be passionate about anything"

What the hell are you talking abou OP?
There's no "time limit" when you're young or old to be passionate about something.

Look at me. I love vidya since I was a kid.
But I also love looking at art now, something that I didn't do very much when I was young.
It's a recently gained passion that have improved the way I live.
Now shut up OP and go

>Now shut up OP and go
ok nigga where

| Retards ITT having no idea what they are talking about

OP if you have no purpose in life then know you can always default back to the eternally reliable backup plan that is simply
>MAKE
>YOURSELF
>BETTER

| sounds like a doomer post tbh. refer to >>796362
hobbies start by doing shit, so go do shit. a lot of shit. you can figure out what you don't like doing and drop that shit for the shit you like to do.
go lifting, it releases the good chemicals.

| You just do it. Like, genuinely. Just look around. Find something that interests you. Done.
It really is that simple. Age doesn't matter. You just find something that interests you a lot, delve into it, and then it may become a passion. If it doesn't become one, just repeat that process.
Try new things, talk to people, touch grass, and eventually you'll find it.

| >>796362
This is literal non advice. OP doesn't even know what they want, becoming better means nothing.

| My mom used to tell me that passion is something that you like doing and at the same time, something that you're good at doing.

Simple maths, find something that you like doing and if you're good at it, then BAM that's your passion.

Never to mistake passion and excitement though, cuz it's easy to lose excitement in everything as you age

| The main reason to go to college is to get away from everything you grew up with and meet new people/subject that will interest you. I learned Chinese this way. Is college, even junior college, something you can do?

| >>796405
Do better faggot

| Devote your life to literature

| >>796576
Oh! To live somewhere and be in a position where you can go to college to "meet new subject that interest you" instead of betting thousands of dollars that the subject you pick IS the one that interest you

| >>797109 It is a gamble for sure. I was too poor so the govt paid me to be able to go to college. So I'm not bragging about the opportunity cause being poor fucking sucked

| >>797748 I once got a scholarship and I threw it away cuz I was lacking off and neglecting study. Now am deep in debt and my life is literally fucked.

Don't be like me xD

| Have you considered devoting your life to Jesus Christ?
