| While I do appreciate being able to talk shit back and forth with my friends, sometimes it gets really tiring when I'm trying to open up and look for genuine support and encouragement, and talking shit is all I get.

Well, that's another thing. If I asked to have a serious chat with my best friend we'd have a serious chat immediately, no bullshit. Being able to joke about things doesn't mean you have to joke about everything. You gotta find you some real ones.
| And for the support part, I get plenty of genuine support and encouragement from him. It's just that instead of purely over the top support or purely shit talking I get times where he'll encourage and support me, have a completely serious talk with me where we open up about stuff, and listen to him go on an Alex Jones type conspiracy rant about how my parents divorce and all my problems boils down to my mom being a closeted lesbian. All in the same call.
