| You're much better off disappearing into a big city. Like others have pointed out it takes a lot of effort to survive in isolation. You can basically unperson yourself if you do a complete makeover and adopt a new persona.
| As a canadian, wildlife in the north is already very scarce, for various reasons including illegal hunting. You'll have gangs roaming in ATVs with automatic rifles and infrared goggles shooting at everything that's not dead and cold. Having been in the US a bit, there's just no wildlife in the US, I don't know what the fuck you people did to your animals, not even birds, I've never seen any birds outside of cities. So your best bet is to live like a pigeon in a concrete jungle.
