I can't do much more than low-intensity elliptical runs for health (and some other) reasons right now, and while it does help my body and I almost feel lighter already after only a week, it also kills my mind. Music and even podcasts can't stave off the monotony. I thought about audiobooks, but they just don't work for me.

I do a lot of cardio and to me it is one of the more enjoyable parts of exercising.
That being said, I don't feel like I can give you any useful advice since I don't know what to talk about when talking about running.

>>776065>>776067>>776071 Oh, nonono, don't get me wrong, it absolutely is enjoyable, as an exercise. But I still find it rather boring, because it's so monotonous. I dunno, probably has something to do with either my innate ADHD (undiagnosed of course, mental health awareness is not really a thing here) or just with being so used to being entertained by something different every 5 minutes 24/7.

>>776085 I've been diagnosed with adhd in another thread and running actually helps me with it. Clears mind, slows thoughts, helps to feel better in general. Almost like a meditation for me.

Invest in an oculus and play beatsaber, you'll work up a sweat flailing your arms around

>>776085 maybe run outside? Like treadmills and ellipticals can be super boring since there is absolutely no variation. Throw in some scenery change that is slow yet progressive and it helps. Plus if you outside running you can easily pace yourself.

>>776416 It's too hot outside right now, I can barely manage to walk somewhere close at most. Plus, running is a bit hard on the joints for me.
