Some people just need to learn the hard way. And if they ask you why they're shitty art doesn't sell then you can say. Otherwise treat as if they came out mormon and you are polite about it.

Lemme get this straight. On your birthday specifically, your friend tries to get you to buy his art, instead of like, saying happy birthday or giving you the art as a gift?
I mean, even if the art isn't very good, as long as he's being sincere and polite about it I don't really see a problem. Doing it on your birthday sounds rude, though.
