Grew up with a flower child mom, so a lot of relevant stuff was in my childhood. But meditating was what stuck with me. Whenever I was bored, tired, just taking a shower, I'd sit and focus on breathing. Bled out into doing so whenever I read, play games, and especially when negative emotions and thoughts bubble up. It's helped me a lot, just having that control available when I need to disconnect from the world around me and refocus. Great for emotional control. Anyone else?
