| Today, I applied for medical cannabis. As part of application, physician describes symptoms. "They suffer from PTSD-like flashbacks." "Has job where they hear heartbreaking stories all day."
Managing lawyer checks on me in my office. Worry on face. I smile and wave her away.
Union friend checks on me in the hall. I shut conversation - another client interview soon. Smile, wave her away.
Tonight, drunk. Grateful for work camaraderie. Will thank them for check-in. Not alone.
