What do you like seeing in a love story?

| I really love romantic tragedies, the happy end is nice but bittersweet endings can be done really well too.
Other than that just realism, a lot of josei manga is quite good for that, romance between office workers is really cute too.

| I like it when the main character doesn’t fall for the first person that they see who is also conveniently attractive. And they actually fall in love with someone they feel an romantic or deeper bond with, not just sexual bc :/

Not a fan of the stories where is one is a delicate flower and the other have to rescue/protect them.
