My parents are very well off but I'm always bouncing between living with them, on the street, or on random men's couches I met online since I was about 15, I'm 19 now and trying really hard to get a place but it's tough to get a job when idk where I'll be sleeping or if I'll be eating lol

| Not really the hood, but I grew up as a traveller. I dunno if trailer parks count as the hood, but everyone is probably as poor and fucked up on drugs as people in the hood there.
I guess the worst it got was when a couple of older guys put a lighter right next to my eye and threatened to burn my eyeball out of my socket.
The best it got was my first girlfriend & boyfriend, we were a very wholesome bi threesome and they were both really sweet.

Likewise, sorry to hear it's difficult to get a place of your own. Travelling ain't exactly the same experience, but I sympathise with how much it sucks to have to constantly move & not knowing where your next meal/job is gonna come from
