Worried about my friend
| I know he's probably just really busy, which is understandable, but it still freaks me out a lot. Usually if something is going on or he's very busy and not seeing my messages he usually answers them straight away if I call. But I've called 5+ times the last two hours and he hasn't seen my messages and isn't online anywhere.
It's just, this has never happened before for the entire time that we've known each other and it just, idk. I feel scared.
| And, like, both the day before yesterday and yesterday he said that we'll get to have proper calls and stuff again tomorrow, but then, well, what I described above.
He's seemed like he's doing well in those, like, super short calls we've done when he's noticed that I'm super stressed about it when finally seeing my messages, but, still. I just can't shake the feeling that something is wrong.
| Well, he called me. Turns out the last three hours was because he fell asleep with his phone on silent. Which, it makes sense, because it is pretty late and he falls asleep just from sitting still for 5 minutes, but, fuck. I still don't feel at ease. This is the second time I've started physically shaking because of this.
Do I have a problem?

| He probably is just really busy. Unless you notice some other red flags show up you shouldn't worry too much. Maybe tell him that you feel like you've grown distant and that you're worried.
Also, uh, sorry if I'm being insensitive or something, but how the do you stay in a call for at least an hour a day every day? I used to do something like that with my friend but we've run out of things to talk about in like five minutes so it's been just a LOT of awkward silence.

Yeah, he is just busy. I know I shouldn't worry. There aren't really any red flags either. He's honestly seemed like he's been doing a lot better the last month or so than he has, like, ever before. I just get really worried really easily. Especially when it comes to, like, the most important person in my life.
For the second part, well, we just have a really good vibe, you know? We don't have to force ourselves to talk or make up topics to get a conversation going.
| We also watch movies, YT, shows and play games etc. So our calls are usually, like, a bit of a mix of different stuff. Sometimes just talking, sometimes talking while doing something like what I said above, or when he's going to the store for example, we might call and he'll take me along to look and stuff, maybe show me around the city a bit, that kinda stuff.
So, yeah. We've never, like, ran out of stuff to do, and I don't really think we will either.

Doubt. He doesn't play games by himself that much, and when he plays games with others it's often with me.

| Hi, so, my closest friend has been hard to reach lately. Usually we call for at least an hour a day no matter how busy either of us are or what's going on in our lives, and we also respond to eachothers messages within 0-10 minutes of it being sent.
But the last two days he's barely even seen my messages and when we've called it's been, like, less than 5 minutes and just him reassuring me and telling me we can call in a little bit, but then is gone for over two hours and no call.
