This is normally a chill board where people can shit post, chill and occasionally vent. Just a nice little safe escape from daily life.
I wish people could start at least trying to be happy instead of acting like 12 year olds with a strained home life. Everyone goes through shit. I wish more people understood that and helped eachother instead of making half-assed attempts at ruining the people who do.

A lot of people struggle with mental health, and this place and video games (which kinda birthed this place) are a form of escapism, and escapism is for obvious reasons popular with people who struggle a lot in their daily lives.
The pandemic has, for obvious reasons, affected people's lives negatively in multiple ways which leads to even worse mental health and s stronger feeling of hopelessness.
Therefore people use this place to vent about it and reach out.

And I know there might be some genuine anxieties in those posts, but if that's how they want to engage with the community, I'd rather they not.
