I think it honestly depends on what the moderators vision for this place is. If they want this place to remain as an escape from daily life and a place that isn't filled with hateful shit, then they should be way stricter and not let people off easy.
If they want a place that's more or less "say and do whatever you want, no matter how retarded and hateful, as long as it's not posting CP" then they shouldn't.
