Do you like to play?

| Not like, games or seducing people or any other way to take the word playing, but, just play.

Just have fun and stuff and maybe play with some plushies or just being a little silly?

It's a lot of fun! Even if you're an adult and stuff I think you should try if you haven't done it in a while. It's a little bit childish probably but I think that's okay, because it's just lots of happy :3

| I'm thinking English isn't your first language and the "play" you mean here would make more sense in your language? Because you're not making sense g/u/rl.

Like, play-acting? Roleplaying? Pranking? Huh?

Like, playing with plushies, or playing with your friends, or playing with toys. Not acting or roleplaying or pranking. Just, playing. Like what kids do, but, not as a kid.

| >>736470
Hm?

| >>736474 What language do you speak?

| Well, I still have some action figures here, but I just can't make myself see them the same way as when I was a kid. Although I get where that comes from, since playing a videogame is almost the same as a kid having fun with a toy, just that the first is a virtual toy.

| Whenever I go for walks and I need to step over puddles I don't see them as puddles. I pretend I take giant steps over lakes. I pretend the brushes are jungles, the swards are fields or savannas and trees are futuristic cities. Beaches and clearings are magical things of their own. I suppose this is the clostest I get to playing.

Ooh! Yay! I love that super much! I want to do that too!

>>736475
Uh, I speak Norwegian when I'm talking to my family and people who live here and stuff, but I mainly speak English. Why?

>>736479
Mhh, yeah! I get that. It can be a little bit hard to think of toys and plushies and stuff the same way. Especially when you always hear that toys and plushies and stuff are for kids and not for teens or grownups.
I think that's a shame though because everyone should be playful!

| >>736514 Just interesting.

| >>736514

Well, we can still play games, so that's nice.

| Sometimes I make my Jill and Dana plushies do dances, but I think that's a little closer to fidgeting than playing in my case. They're the only things I can assign any animacy though.

| >>736521
Oki!

>>736525
That's true! Games are fun!

>>736540
Aw! That's super cute though! I like it!

| Is playing with my cat count?

| >>736480
If this fits your definition, op, then I'll call this roleplaying. When you play with plushies and you pretend they're people/creatures doing things, that's roleplaying.

The "roleplaying" that involves dice and stat sheets are just the advanced nerdy version of this. Some adults need the extra simulation because just looking at a figurine it not enough.

| I don't know what you mean by "playing with your friends" though. Playing what with your friends?

| >>736593
I guess so. I do the roleplaying with dice and stuff too, but it feels weird to call what I mean roleplaying because, idk. That's not what we would call it here.

>>736594
Have you never had friends in elementary school or middle school or anything like that?

| >(((play)))

| Wii would like to play

| >>736596
That was in reference to what you said here btw >Like, playing with plushies, or playing with your friends, or playing with toys.

Well yeah I did have friends. We chat. We play games. I just don't see how having friends is related to the "play" you mean. The "with friends" part is like an add-on to the verb, not an activity all on its own. Unless you're treating your friends like you would your toys? But that's weird.

| >>736613
Mhhhh. Well, I elementary and middle school I used to play with my friends a lot. Like, just doing silly stuff or like, tag and stuff. Not just games and stuff, but more physical play and just general silliness. That's what I mean when saying the playing with my friends thing.
Not treating them like toys you silly! That wouldn't be very fun for them.
