And I would love to hear you g/u/rls feedback and opinions on it. This is the first song I've ever released and I would really like to improve in any way possible as music is something I'm fairly passionate about.

I would also be open to any recommendations of themes or stuff for future songs. I'm no Song-chan, I sadly can't pump out finished songs in a day or two, but, still. I'll do my best.

>>725644 That's okay. I'm glad you liked it :)
Anyone got feedback though? I appreciate the positivity but I also wanna improve.

Well, I haven't really gotten any feedback from you g/u/rls yet, but I see that I've gotten some listens from weird places and I can only assume it's you g/u/rls, so, thank you :)
Feedback still appreciated though if anyone's got any.

Okay, so I'm not an authority on music and I'm not sure if you are the rapper on the track or the person who made the beat. The beat is pretty chill and I can definitely see someone bumping that on replay easily. The audio for the rap on the other hand seems to be muted so I can barely make out what is being said. I really like the flow at times when you/whoever gets really into it but it seems like you are trying to sing some parts of it and it's a little off key.

I would say stick to a one style (ie rapping in a speaking voice)for a verse or commit to singing those parts that you are trying to make flow more. Again I'm not any authority on music but keep it up! Half the battle is making something and putting it out there!

>>725974 I'm the rapper, yeah. The guy who made the track is a good.
Vocals are definitely a little too low, I agree. I don't really know audio mixing so me and a homie who's really good at it send it back and forth and neither of us noticed how low it was until after it was released. I'll be more attentive towards that next time.
>>725975 I kind of get what you mean. It was supposed to gradually pick up though, so, this might be a compliment? I'm honestly not sure.

Thank you though! I really appreciate the feedback and I'll keep all of it in mind when recording more. Also, since you seemed to prefer the rapping, well, I am currently working on an EP that's just rap, no singing aside from one track that might have someone who's actually a good singer on it. So if it's okay for the admins here I could share that when it releases and you could tell me if I improved or not, and what to work on after hearing the genre I'm more used to.

>>725986 oh I was just encouraging you! And if you want to change the dynamics of a verse, make sure to listen to the beats in the track. Have certain words you want to emphasize fall on a beat. Like if the track is 4/4 time then you might want to emphasize a word on beat 2 and beat 4. Counting the rhythm while reading your lyrics helps keeps the flow nice and clean, just a practice tip! Though it works more singing.

>>725987 I'm not sure of the rules on here but yeah if you post something here again, I'll be more than happy to take a listen! Though first and foremost make sure you find approval within yourself rather than outside. Listining to my/other people's options is okay but make sure you're proud and happy with what you make first! Everything will follow though after that! Best of luck, g/u/rl!

>>726112 I know, but thank you still :) I kind of just, write? I don't really think at all when I'm writing, and then when I'm done I clean it up a bit. Sometimes I don't even write to a beat. I just write and find a beat that fits it halfway through or after I'm done writing. It's been going pretty well so far, even though this is the first ever released project I have.
>>726113 Yeah, I'll make stuff that I like first and foremost. Thanks for the support and feedback :)

Sounds definetely like a beat o chill/vib e to
Although I think if u would sing with a normal manner it would sound better

>>726154 Don't exactly know how to say his in english. I mean, to sing the song like a melody, not like rap or smth. I can hear you have a good voice and can sing beautifully

>>726190 Oh. Well, I just prefer rap. I don't enjoy just singing. I need it to be either partially rap or fully rap. Thank you for the compliment though, but I'm not going to change genre for you.
