Predictions For 2021

| I'll Start:

Bill Nye The Science Guy accidentally creates an information weapon which immediately starts a global cold war between all the countries.

| The government discovers that heroin makes you immune to COVID, and for monetary reasons cancel all vaccines and sends out heroin for everyone to inject.

| i make too much cum and die

| I become a long-haired twink and get kicked out of the house for being too fabulous

| terrorist attack in milano

| World Peace

| >>725160
lol

nah instead it's another war in africa

| Massive riots start on all the "first-world" countries, due to a worldly pornography banning and, later on, complete purge.
All coomers will gather, making he women on a 5 kilometer radius pregnant from the stench alone.
The name of the next generation of babies is still undecided.

| >>725165
GOOMERS

| One ecoterrorist blows up a post office or something of similar importance in America and nobody stops reporting on it for a month.

No good movies come out all year.

Kanye West, not wanting to miss his chance again, runs for President.

| I get a job.

| Covid continues for another year until one the contries finally gives up and everyone else takes that example.

| I once again fail to get a learner's permit.

| Covid will be finished by summer in most of the countries.

The US will become more stable because Biden is more predictable than Trump. However, the overall decline will continue because neither democrats nor republicans are capable of doing anything except receiving money from corporations and Israel. Covid showed that this country is just a braindead power with a huge amount of balloon money. This is definitely is the beginning of the end.

| China will continue its unstoppable dominance around the world.

Russia is not even worth mentioning anymore. Just a regular corrupt country that will become more corrupted in the future. The same goes for all CIS region except for maybe Ukraine (cheap workforce, small taxes) and Kazakhstan (cheap workforce, tries to become more like China).

| Western Europe will continue its stability/decline.

Eastern Europe will grow a little bit. A cheap workforce and monoethnic society can achieve great things.

Japan is a wild card. It should be more or less stable but I am not sure.

Africa will try to get the title of "The Factory of The World" from China and Vietnam. Not sure if this goal is real when you have a revolution each presidential election though.

I can smell all the despair we will get this decade. Good luck, gurls.

| >>86d456

damn

| World Event A will be replaced by World Event B

| >>725754 What about south america ?

| >>726074 since drug cartels there hold more power than any government, no positive changes are possible. But even without crime, most of the public has retarded believes about the economy. Meaning, no adequate voices will be heard thanks to democracy.

You g/u/rls are fucked, sorry. I don't see any way out of there.

| Well, these messages are supposed to be a joke, so don't take them too seriously.

| >>725230
sine. by the end of 2021, you're still collecting unemployment

| >>726122 nah dude your predictions here were, by far, the most probable, well based and supported ones here.

| You could still be wrong and things could get better but that would require something that we still dont know/have, if things are just gonna be going further than this is the future.

| Oh and japan might seem like a wild card but I think it is going for a massive, but passive, cultural break.

Most people there are old, they are not having kids, their culture propagates the overworking, the suicide rates are high, the young are either dropping out or working their butts off, their politicians are unflexible and old, they dont care about the younger gens despite the ammount of dropouts and lack of kids, young adults dont care about politics anymore.

| I say the break will be passive cuz there doesnt seem to be any restance group or actvists promoting anything there, so they are just gonna have crash in their society that no one expected and then they will possibly learn what they did wrong wich is not caring bout the next generation.

| >>726243 yeah, I also agree that the crash of Japanese society is inevitable. The "wild card" thesis was about how would they deal with it.

I think that, as a nation, these guys are surprisingly more adaptable compared to Europeans. They might implement a new system of government (or copy it from Singapour or something) that will lead to another economic miracle.

| It might be something like direct internet democracy, digital dictatorship with "AI" assistance, neocameralism, and so on.

| My justification for this optimism is...

Well, they did something like that before, right?

| >>726259 that is a good evidence, tho history doesnt always repeats itself

| >>726262 that is precisely why I called it "a wild card", yes.

But I genuinely hope for their success. Handing the world's progress to China is not a good idea imo. The worst mistake you can make is to trust a fucking communist.

| Danger /u/ will grow and become more relevant than reddit

| >>726314 the normies will ruin the site and /new/ will be purged cuz people just cant take it there, and then the whole site will be filled politics threads.

This will then start an era of censorhip here that will try to make sure politics and arguements dont happen here anymore.

All the original users will dropout and this place will become a "twitter people friendly 4chan"

| There is the second option that the normies will start bugging everybody to change to their rules but then we fight back and they just leave.

Wich could cause a danger/u/ civil war, and the side the mods take on will be key.

They could cater to the new and big fanbase and censor everything or just be loyal to their principles and keep doing the way they always have done.

| Countries of the post-Soviet space will unite and make a new superpower.

| China will start WW3 but fall on it's ass. People end up just ignoring the war to let China save face (and stay on their gravy train)

| >>726412 no, china does 5th gen warfare, they get a hold of the local companies, create viral spyware stuff like apps and digital products, spread fake information, leak documents, cyber attacks etc.

All the stuff that is harder to notice as a direct attack, they just cripple and take over the country by the pockets.

| If china actually went to real war they would loose hard to any country that is a super power

|
This >>725473 is the most realistic in the whole thread.
The virus won't go away, people will become hypocrites

| >>726427 the new strain be like

| Most of these sound like something that Clarkson would say in the top gear intro

| >>726427 we did overcome previous pandemics. It is unlikely that covid is any different.

| In the worst case we will have compulsory vaccination each year or something.

| >>726508
Yeah. I find it weird how so many people seem to think we won't get past COVID. Like, are y'all that fucking depressed? Damn. Where I'm at we've already gotten shipments of vaccines that are proven to work and are setting up for distribution. First to those who are high risk and then the rest.
And while, sure. I live in a first world country with a lot of money, if we already have vaccines, it won't be long before the rest of the world gets in.
It's not gonna stay forever.

| 2021 continues the desaster train that 2020 started with two nuklear accidents.

The first being a classic meltdown. Devastating but nothing new in itself.

The second one is the flooding of the nuklear waste dump Asse II in germany. leaking groundwater corrodes both the waste barrels as well as the surrounding bedrock. The radioactive material leached away and contaminates not only a large area but also drining water for millions. This leads to an evacuation of unprecedented scale

| >>726981 btw, Tihange in belgium is a likely candidate fir a meltdown. Germany and thus indirectly the EU is pretty much fucked in my scenario

| i make no money

| i earn no money

| something incredible will happen that none of us could have possibly predicted

| >>0eba18 will make money

| Ai driven algorithms on social media create a stochastic terrorist movement who believes the moon is made of chocolate and the onion layer deep state is covering it up

| >>727027 this already happend, we have flat earthers in the 21st century

| Neo puritan twitter leftists who complain about "Problematic" age gaps in fiction and how everyone who so much as picks their nose is a secret pedo are going to team up with tradcath larpers, anti porn people, TERFs and Qanon hold overs to form a new upcoming reactionary movement.

| >>727031 it is already happening dude, have you seen the movie and comic undustry? They are almost taking over gaming, all that is left is for them to get into anime and music

| And I swear that by the end of 2023 the deep web will become the new internet for the non normies

| >>727031 Having flashbacks of that tradcath larper anti porn anime music video edit I saw the other day now.

| >>f51750 god i hope so, clearnet feels soo destroyed already... There is Zer0net too but both feel a little... how to name it... enclosed?

| nothing terrifies westerners than them not being in charge of the world anymore and I find that hilarious

| fixkss

| >>727173 but this thread is about 2021 predictions, not 2031...

| Brazil will begin to stabilize

| >>727193 lol

| >>727193 Yeah, sure...

| >>727193 HAha, good one

| >>727193 lmao

| Lilims will be produced

| >>727170
You've seen what China does to itself and to Africa, right?

| >>727832 yeah I mean, yeah china really is one of the last places that should be a world power.

But if we ignore their prejudice towards muslims, "working" camps, the absurd idea to weld peoples doors so they isolate in the pandemic and what happened to hong kong, we have a country that calls themselves communist and has cheap labor thats tottaly humane and legal and isnt really going against the law that hey have created thanselves. So CCP fpr the win! I think?

| >>727838 we can judge them all we want, but it doesn't change the fact that their strategies are working. Also, the workforce is not that cheap now, so it is no longer their advantage.

| I guess human rights don't make much profit anymore.

| >>727840 they were never meant for profit they were meant to oppress poor elites who only wanted hard working people at the cost of some lifes and no money, so if they have laws that have loopholes against it, than they are just doing what benefits them, damn the CCP is smart

| And why bother to go to war when you can just get the local companies of other countries by creating laws that force companies to sell thelselves to them, get rid small business competition and leave the country to rot while the population and the economy colapses? thats ehat they get for not being communists and investing in HR

| Yes, and that is the saddest part. I hope they will at least benefit humanity with human experiments I guess.
